The Student Hotel then The Social Hub expands its presence in Italy with a new facility in the Navile district of Bologna, an area in constant transformation that has become a multicultural and sustainable center. The project transformed the former 11,200 square metre Telecom building with underground parking into an innovative hub for students, citizens and visitors, offering living, study, work and relaxation spaces. The property includes a public courtyard surrounded by cafes, restaurants, co-working spaces and event facilities, in line with the dynamic and creative design typical of The Student Hotel.
The project includes rooms, student studios, study areas, a library, conference spaces, a gym and an incubator for start-ups, for a new model of student life in Bologna. Jendy Joss contributed to the project by building the external walls for about 12,000 square meters using painted shaved facades and ventilated facades with high level thermal and acoustic performance.
