Energy and aesthetic redevelopment of 1,500 square meters of external facades of the Honegger RSA Foundation building in Albino (BG), in collaboration with General Contractor MIR Group.
The project consisted of replacing the external infill and finishing it with a ventilated stoneware facade. The goal was to keep the facility fully operational without interrupting the RSA’s daily activities, thus causing as little disruption as possible to the elderly residents who continued to live in their rooms during the work.
Speed of execution was therefore essential and was ensured by a fastening system specifically developed for the project, which allowed the JJ Modules to be worked on and installed exclusively from the outside without accessing the rooms.
The insulated JJ Modules arrived on site already complete with windows and casings, aluminum casings, air-water seals, and internal plasterboard, thus minimizing internal work.
This project demonstrates that off-site construction allows for the acceleration of the energy and aesthetic requalification process of existing buildings.
