EXTERNAL WALL FEATURES
External Insulation on existent wall with Jendy Joss® thermal-acoustic high-performance dry system composed from a steel frame, cover with calcium-silicate boards and glass wool insulation material, for total thicknes 122mm (excluded external finishing), with linear thermal transmittance U=0.231 W/mqK, periodic thermal transmittance Yi.e=0.037 W/mqK, thermal attenuation factor 0.162 and summer thermal lag 10h 39’ (thermal valutation considering an existent brick plastered wall of thickness 30cm and excluding the finishing). The wall is ready for shaving and painting, coating or the ventilated facade.
The steel frame tipe DX51, thickness 08/10mm, consists of vertical profiles size 50-100-50mm, with distance 600mm, fixed to existing structure through appropriate 30/10mm clamps doweled, useful also for correct irregularity of existing wall. For thermal insulation Inside steel frame there is a 100mm glass wool panel with Thermal Condictivity λ=0,032 W/mK, with kraft paper on one side, conform to the UNI EN 13162.
The exterior side is closed with calcium silicate board with thickness 12mm, screwed to the metal by special screws VT4.2*32, galvanized and self-tapping. All Universal Rock® calcium-silicate boards have a high density of 1,200 kg/m³ and high mechanical performance, in A1 Fire Class Reaction, with universal use, with absolutely no harmful materials and have a very low Radioactivity Index of 0.15.
For the external surface, in the case of shaving and painting, the 4mm external joints between the UR12 calciumsilicate boards will be filled with specifical product and inside fiberglass net of 165 gr/mq and width 5 cm. In case of ventilated facade it will be applied a 110 gr/mq black vapor barrier with waterproof function also during the construction time and dark background in case of facade with opened joints. Including thermal bridging treatments.
